Only aggravating part about this app is that you cant create custom categories to filter your swipes. Annoying when you want to categorize donations, etc or be more specific.

This app is a Huge timesaver for my CPA and I. There is one thing I wish they would incorporate in the next update. The ability to mass swipe a bunch of transactions or miles all at once. Im only in this app about once per month and its a little time consuming to have to swipe 300plus transactions and 60plus trips individually when I know all of them are for business. I wish I could just select all of them at once and assign them to business. Other than that, this app is perfect for people like me who hate the small details of running a small business. This app will make your life so much easier! 5 stars!!

Ive been using Intuits TurboTax for decades, and trust it completely. Easy, intuitive, accurate, and even kind of fun. Well I recently and rather unexpectedly took the self-employment plunge, and needed to figure out taxes and everything else at warp speed. I figured I couldnt go too far wrong with an Intuit product. Ive been using QBSE for all of three weeks now, and at the very least I feel Im not losing track of things (my biggest fear). I have two cards I try to use exclusively for my business, and the linking went way more smoothly than I expected. Im a newby at this, but at least I feel like I have a safety net in this program.

Im really happy with this service overall and recommend all self-employed/Schedule C folks check it out, especially if the full version of Quickbooks is too much. There are missing elements here that frustrate me which I hope will be addressed soon. Starting with one that affects every customer, Im amazed one cant rename a transaction through the app. So if your transaction reads "Check 1234" you can change its taxation category, make notes, even attach a photo of a receipt taken right there on your phone -- but have to go look it up later on your computer (?!) to rename it "XYZ Consultation". Same for plenty of debits named poorly by the automatic system. Its an odd oversight I keep thinking must be mine! But nope - cant be done, at least not on my iPhone 6S. Another thing Id love to see change is the ability to access more than one business for those who want to use QBSE for additional little ventures. Finally, I really wish the whole QBSE system could be used for more than Schedule C categories. So many of us deduct charitable giving as well as real estate rentals and they cant be properly accounted for yet. Which makes for annoying double-work when turning things over to the accountant. Hope thats coming, because whats here is clear, simple, beautiful, and life-changingly helpful!

Love it. So simple and streamlined. Ive tried many other money tracking apps, but this is by far, by far the best one.

I am an independent stylist and I run my own business and this program has made my life sooooo much easier as I love to keep my business very organized. Its user friendly and you can make rules so certain transactions will automatically go to a certain category. I have to pay taxes every quarter so this is a God-send. I will be telling everyone about it. This is an unbiased review. I pay the monthly payment.

Love it. The app needs updating, customer service quick to respond. Although they have trouble understanding basic English. Looking forward to improvements. When you delete a account it stays there.

This is an essential app for the self-employed. But it drains my battery like crazy with its background services. The Settings Battery screen shows that this app is responsible for ~35% of my battery use every day, and I use quite a lot of apps. This really needs to be fixed.

I am a 1099 subcontractor, and do work for multiple contractors. This app is a much simpler version of QB, and very user friendly. It is great for tracking business income, expenses, and deductions including mileage. As far as I can tell, with this app you cannot create an invoice. I am currently using both this and original QB just for creating invoices. I am hoping QBSE will update with a way to create a simple invoice. It would also be great if I could import all of my Intuit info when a new app like this one comes out.

Saves so much time

Ive barely scratched the surface of this app so far, but what made me get it was the automatic mileage tracking. I had been logging my miles on my notepad, which became a huge hassle. I love how I can immediately categorize each trip as business or personal, and the same with my bank transactions!

Great App but needs more categories and the option to create a category name.

Best app to use for tracking mileage, spending, EVERYTHING!!! Just add the info and bam, it just watches your stuff for you. Too easy!!

I liked the app last week and had issues with setting up my bank account; bye bye 20% discount on subscription. I continue to get authentication errors in the app on banking information. The mileage tracking is wonderful. I hope it fills all my needs for my rideshare business.
